A monthly internal bookkeeping review is maintained and quarterly financial reports are prepared by an accounting firm and provided to the Trustees of Friends of Valkenberg. FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
The Friends of Valkenberg Trust is an NPO and, although it relies heavily on donor funding it is also committed to income generation and raising funds through events. A good and long term relationship exists with a diverse group of regular funders and supporters. The fact that the organisation is still operating without debt, after 25 years, with the back-up of a small but solid savings account as contingency, indicates the success of its financial sustainability.

TRUSTEES & PATRON
The Friends is overseen by a committed group of trustees who serve the trust by offering a variety of professional skills and faithful dedication to the cause. Trustees are all volunteers and receive no remuneration from Friends of Valkenberg Trust.

Quarterly trustees meetings are held to monitor and direct the trust with ad hoc meetings where needed.
